TRAINERS IN ADDICTION PREVENTION RECEIVED THEIR CERTIFICATES

The Implementation Training Process of the Turkey Addiction Prevention Education Program, organized within the scope of the cooperation between Trakya University and Yeşilay (Green Crescent), concluded with the distribution of certificates. The participating Trakya University academicians who attended the intensive four-day training program held from January 27–30 were awarded their certificates.

The certificate ceremony was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. A. Muzaffer Demir, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tan, Prof. Dr. Eylem Bayır, and Prof. Dr. Sedat Üstündağ, along with Secretary General İlyas İpek and Deputy Secretary General Ahmet Yence.

Among those who gained detailed knowledge on addictive substances, digital addiction, gambling addiction, chemical and behavioral addictions, as well as the causes and solutions to addiction—and who are now equipped to support university youth against all types of addiction—was Edirne Vocational School of Social Sciences Lecturer Sena Daşkıran.

It was stated that the certified academicians will teach the "Addiction Prevention Course," which will be included in Trakya University's curriculum.
